Tiwa Savage Clears The Air On The Actual Meaning Of “Koroba”: Nigerian bad Gyal and award winning singer, Tiwa Savage has come out to defend some thoughts insinuating “Koroba” encourages prostitution.
There was a recent argument on twitter which stated that the first verse of the song encourages transactional sex. The singer came online to clear the air concerning the lyrics which has been thwarted from its original meaning.
Here is a verse from her song:
“I no come this life to suffer
If I follow politician
You go hear am for paper
Them go call am prostitution
Who no like enjoyment?
If money dey for pocket
Shebi na national budget o?
We go blow am like trumpet e (okay)”
The singer explained that the song was for the politicians that loot Nigerian money and yet the society blames the women for sleeping around when they have the upper hand and are doing the exact same thing, only differently.
