Timaya Reveals Reason Behind Delay In The Release Of His New Album
Timaya Delays Album Release: Prolific Nigerian singer and songwriter, Timaya is contemplating on the release of his new album called “Gratitude”.
He made it known that the raging global pandemic “Coronavirus” is the major reason for the delay in the album release.
Timaya threw the question to his fans to ask them if it was Okay for him to drop the project as he didn’t want to seem too insensitive.
Perhaps to the ongoing World crisis and to the fact that things were far from rosy.
I believe everyone’s attention is being channeled towards the more important issue like the rising rate of death and hunger.
No one surely wants to listen to an album on an empty stomach, that is if they even listen at all.
Funds are being cut off and money is scarce. Crime is on the rise, looting is official now.
People are simply looking forward to simply surviving. So, the question is as valid as can be.
Read his tweet below:
“Beautiful people, what’s good? Listen. I was supposed to be bringing out my album, titled ‘Gratitude.’ I’ve been waiting for this corona period to get over, but I don’t see that coming any time soon.
So what do you want to tell me, should I drop it? I’m asking because I don’t want to look too insensitive, but trust me, I want to drop that album… It’s fire.
Tell me what you think, should I drop it or should I wait till after corona?”
The new album “Gratitude” will be following his February 2019 released project tagged “Chulo Vibes” which gave him some major hits and relevantly till date.
