Rema Rocks New Low-cut Hairstyle To Protest Against SARS: Mavin Records singer, Rema has surprised fans with a new hairstyle on social media.
Rema is on a mission to create awareness with his latest hairstyle. He decide to take off his dreadlocks as a means to protest that keeping a long hair doesn’t make one a criminal.
The singer who has been on dreads since he made his debut with “Dumebi” cut them off for a much lower hair cut to lend his support to the ongoing protests against police brutality across the country.
Taking to his twitter page, he wrote that keeping dreads doesn’t mean he is a criminal. He wrote:
“Dreads don’t mean I’m a criminal #EndSARS ✊🏾🇳🇬”.

While this recent and unexpected development may comes as a surprise to people, it is understandable that the singer would do this as the nation has been thrown into a major setback which is revolving around an imminent revolution.
