No One Wanted Listen To My Music Except M.I Abaga: Popular Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani has revealed a shocking story about how his musical career started in Lagos.

The “Wave” crooner made it known that MI Abaga was the only artiste willing to listen to his music and help him when he was still starting up his musical journey.

In his words:

“I came to lagos, not one person wanted to sign me or even give me an ear expect for the king MI and that was after i dropped Gentleman in 2015, and I’ve been here since 2009. You don’t want to know what I’ve been through, very few know the story. Respect me appropriately, please.”

Ric Hassani whose real name is Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu is signed to Riverland Records. He is a singer, songwriter and musician. Hassani was born on 6 January 1989, in Port Harcourt.

His recent music titled “Wave” is truly garnering attention and airplay all over the country and is a different type of vibe. It is a mixture of alternative, pop and rap.
